Late pregnancy and post-partum are very fragile weeks both emotionally and physically - some might say an unideal time for a photoshoot haha. But working with Crystal was incredible and now we have gorgeous photos from two seasons I never want to forget. She helped me look and feel confident in my body, and captured the love my husband and I have for our new son and our dog. I’m not a big photo framer/hang pictures in the wall kinda gal, but I am getting several printed images from Crystal’s gallery of us because they’re too beautiful not to. We are also getting Christmas cards made for the first time in 7 years!
My favorite thing about her work is that nothing looks posed or formal. Instead, you see the silly, the joy, the respect for one another, the kindness towards one another…. her images capture the best parts of real life. If you’re on the fence, go with Crystal.

Crystal is amazing! She captured the most beautiful photos of our new family that I will cherish forever. Her presence was calming and comforting which was great because my husband and I can be awkward and camera shy. We had the BEST experience with Crystal. I have 2 young boys, and as kids tend to do on picture days they were… spirited. They were wild, I was frustrated, I thought there was no chance she could capture good shots in all the chaos. But Crystal never once made me feel judged for my kids’ craziness; in fact she encouraged it and complimented their energy and all the while kept on snapping photos and reassuring me. I was shocked when only a few days later she sent us the most beautiful and special shots. She somehow made magic out of our chaotic day and captured us all in such a meaningful and perfect way. Crystal is a gem! My husband and I are the most awkward when it comes to taking posed photos, but I knew we would regret not getting a maternity shoot done. Crystal made us feel so comfortable just being are awkward goofy selves. Better yet the pictures turned out amazing and a couple are framed in our sons room and he points out mommy and daddy constantly. Thank you Crystal for making us feel comfortable outside our comfort zone.
